Michael Russo was born in Hoboken and raised here in the 3rd Ward. His early education was at the Calabro Grammar School and he is a graduate of the Hoboken High School, both Hoboken public schools. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Richard Stockton College and a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. A licensed Physical Therapist, he owns and operates a private practice in Hoboken and is pursuing a clinical doctorate degree. Throughout his life, Michael Russo has been involved in the community in both civics and government. Michael began volunteering as a youth in the Boy Scouts of America where he became an Eagle Scout and as an active member of the Russo Civic Association. As a young adult, Russo coached P.A.L. football, acted as an assistant Scout Master and taught summer supplemental education programs for Hoboken High School students. As a young professional, he began serving you in local government as a member of the Hoboken Zoning Board of Adjustments. Michael volunteers his services by providing pro bono home care treatment for senior citizens and sports rehabilitation for Hoboken youth. |
